Play Four Hands at Double Joker Level Up Video Poker

In this video poker game, Double Joker Level Up Video Poker, the player must play four hands, one after another. But he can only go from one level (hand) to the next if he has won the first one. If he wins the previous hand, the next level gives him doubled payouts.

Double Joker Level Up Video Poker is the fifth in Microgaming's popular video poker Level Up Series. It needs some good practice to be able to play strategically, but, like all poker games, it also requires luck with the cards.

How the Double Joker Level Up Video Poker Screen Looks

In this video poker game all four hands are dealt from the beginning at the right hand side of the screen. The cards of the first hand are turned face up. The number of coins from which the player can choose (from one to five) and the payout table for single payouts are displayed on the left side of the screen.

Other information and options appear at the bottom of the screen, and on the extreme left the player's balance is displayed. To the right is the coin size option. In this video poker game players can choose from ten cents to one dollar.

How Double Joker Level Up Video Poker Is Played

Double Joker Level Up Video Poker is played with a deck of 54 cards - the extra two cards are jokers. The jokers are wild and can be used to replace any card in order to get a winning hand. Since this video poker game uses two jokers, the payout table begins with two pairs rather than the usual "jacks or better". There are some other "specials" in this game due to the use of two jokers, such as "five of a kind" and "joker royal flush".

The player places his bets for all four hands at the beginning. If he loses the first hand, he loses all his bets and the game is over. If he wins the first hand, he receives the appropriate payout and goes on to the second hand which is exposed. If the player wins the second hand, he receives an amount two times that in the payout table and gets to go on to the third hand. But if he loses the second hand, the player has the option to double or to just collect his first hand winnings. In the double feature the player is dealt one card face up and four cards face down. He then picks one of the face down cards. If it is higher than the face up card, his winnings are doubled.

Double Joker Level Up Video Poker has two very special features that are not found in standard video poker games.
  • First special feature is the Free Ride Card. If this card shows up during any deal, the player is allowed to play the next hand even if he doesn't have a winning combination. However, there are no payouts for this extra hand.
  • Second special feature is the Auto Complete Royal Flush. If the player loses before all four hands are played, then all the cards are exposed. Should any of these exposed hands contain a Royal Flush, the player receives a special payout.

  • The doubled payouts, Free Ride Card and the Auto Complete Royal Flush are what make Double Joker Level Up Video Poker unique and special and more challenging for all video poker players.
